Triangle Talent is hiring a Controller for a multinational company located in the Porto region - Santo Tirso.

Mission:

You will be responsible for providing the CFO and the executive team with transparent and solid financial data, advice, and support in order to ensure that annual financial objectives are met, as well as efficient
- making and reliable control.

Main tasks:

1. Collect, interpret, and analyze financial data;
2. Prepare the budget according to the required timetable and format;
3. Manage the cost input process with historical analysis and challenge the data provided by business unit managers, supporting the budget manager and business controller;
4. Monitor budget deviations and understand the causes of deviations, reporting to the executive team;
5. Support local management in analyzing costs with a view to reducing them;
6. Perform tasks associated with the monthly and annual closing of the income statement and balance sheet;
7. Ensure the monthly and annual closing of accounts;
8. Control and manage reports, defining the environment and the collection, consolidation, analysis, and validation processes to produce forecasts, drawing conclusions about variations in the allocation of resources and recommending corrective actions;
9. Prepare financial KPI analyses and operational and financial indicator reports on a monthly basis for the executive team, in accordance with the schedule;
10. Carry out analytical reviews of monthly operating results, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the reports;
11. Coordinate and ensure the quality, consistency, and timeliness of accounting data (actual/forecast/budget);
12. Assist in the implementation of process improvements;
13. Ensure the application of the internal control system;
14. Promote the interests and image of the Organization and act in accordance with the Code of Ethics.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Management, or Economics;
2. At least 5 years' professional experience in a similar role;
3. Solid knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel;
4. Experience as an SAP user (preferred);
5. Fluent in Portuguese and English;
6. Good communication skills;
7. Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking;
8. Ability to identify and solve problems;
9. High sense of responsibility, organization, and adherence to schedules;
