We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) department at Capgemini. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving technical aspects of CIM projects across the company value chain, external suppliers, and partners. Your role will involve leading
- disciplined and
- functional projects primarily related to product improvement in the wind energy sector.

YOUR MISSION

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investigate failures reported from turbines in the field by collaborating with site technicians and design engineers.
2. Drive
   - cause analysis and identify impact on fleet.
3. Align with all affected stakeholders, including module owners, service, construction, legal, and finance teams.
4. Engage in dialogue with suppliers/manufacturers of affected components.
5. Identify short and
   - term actions to reduce the effect of failures.
6. Drive the development of improvement solutions and create testing specifications.
7. Prepare inputs for customer and stakeholder communication.
8. Develop inputs for business cases.
9. Initiate the creation of necessary Design Change Orders and update DFMEA.

YOUR PROFILE

Academic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree preferred)

Technical Expertise:

1. Proficiency in DMAIC improvement cycle, 6-Sigma methodologies, SCRUM, and gate models
2. Knowledge of working with engineering drawings and electrical circuit drawings
3. Experience with CAD tools and SAP
4. Strong analytical skills
5. Fluency in English (written and oral)

Professional Experience:

1. 10+ years of industry experience in mechanical engineering
2. Field experience in the Wind Industry, especially with Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), is highly preferred
3. Exposure to
   - cultural and international organizations
4. Demonstrated experience in project management and
   - functional team leadership
5. Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives in a technical environment
