Our prestigious client is looking for a Senior Accounts payable specialist (M/F) for Boavista dos Pinheiros (Odemira).
As a senior accounts payable specialist, you are responsible for a timely and accurate execution of the accounts payable process and an
-
- date accounts payable subledger and related balance sheet accounts for various entities.
The goal of the department is to have a solid accounts payable portfolio with a clear view on the overdue and/or disputed vendor invoices and a good relationship with the vendors and other departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process in a timely and accurate way all incoming invoices
- Timely payment of invoices
- Follow up on disputed supplier invoices with responsible persons of various departments
- Monthly review of unapproved invoices and follow up when needed
- Responsible for determination and booking of monthly accrual for not approved invoices/expected costs. Supporting with projects
- Ensure a timely and correct handling of all incoming communications and requests from vendors and other departments
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education & training
- Excellent in the Spanish language
- Good English language skills (verbal and
- verbal)
- Experience
- Min. 0-3 years’ experience in an accounts payable department.
- Preferably working in an international dynamic environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, expert level in Excel
