Our EPC Business Line is looking for an experienced Site Manager to support our construction projects in Portugal (Northern-Central Area).

The Site Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and realization of all the site activities for the construction of the project:

1. Manage the site team (except HSE), namely site supervisors (mechanical, electrical, civil, warehouse manager, and quality managers).
2. Responsible for all subcontractors work: ensure all HSE documents are duly validated before entrance on site and that the works are conducted as per these HSE documents.
3. Assure production rates are being followed by subcontractors on site, and project execution is in line with contractual requirements.
4. Coordinate and assure execution of all site works, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, project execution design, and permits.
5. Assure good quality of executed works.
6. Establish and maintain
   - site offices and facilities.
7. Report daily to the Project Manager on project site progress; elaborate weekly reports.
8. Report and mitigate any risk that may cause delays or additional costs to the project.
9. Propose added value alternatives regarding project execution.
10. Present return of experience on executed works on site.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have/be:

1. An Electrical Engineering degree.
2. Between 2 and 5 years of working experience in a relevant role on construction projects (preferably in the energy sector).
3. Good knowledge of tools and techniques for project schedules/planning/reporting (able to work with planning software).
4. Knowledge of HSE requirements.
5. Fluent in English; other languages would be a plus.
6. Availability for national/international travel, if needed.
