Join Our Team in Lisbon as Community & Events Associate!
Ready to make a real impact in Lisbon's tech scene? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Community & Events Associate to join our vibrant team and help us grow our unique brand and student community.
Working closely with the Country Manager, with the support of the Regional Marketing team, you will play a key role in activating the local Le Wagon community - including students, alumni, leads, and partners - while creating a welcoming learning atmosphere at our campus, by supporting daily local operations, impactful event planning and execution and cultivating critical partnerships This is an early career role with the ideal candidate having less than 2 years of work experience.
Your Mission is in 3 areas:
Engage Our Community:
- Support daily operations, from campus setup to student care and motivation.
- Plan and host community events, tech talks, and career sessions.
- Connect with alumni for tailored events and engaging communication.
Market Our Brand:
- Organize and promote marketing events to showcase Le Wagon and attract leads.
- Coordinate with sales teams for effective event
- up and conversion. - Source and manage speakers, ensuring professional and impactful sessions.
Forge Partnerships:
- Engage with local tech communities to showcase Le Wagon's value.
- Identify and nurture potential partnerships through targeted outreach.
- Spearhead new events and initiatives tailored to our city's tech needs.
About You:
- Based in Lisbon with a passion for the city's tech scene.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese with strong communication skills.
- 0-2 years of experience in event marketing or community management.
- Outgoing, empathetic, and sociable with a knack for networking.
- Proven track record in organizing marketing events and workshops.
