The Commercial Finance Manager is a member of the Portugal finance team and will act as a point of contact to the Iberia Finance team. He/she will report to the Iberia Financial Planning & Analysis Lead.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Build reliable forecasts, monitor and report financial performance, and propose timely corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
2. Support the Country Manager on commercial, operational, and strategic matters.
3. Act as a link between the local leadership team and the rest of the Iberia Finance team.
4. Coordinate, consolidate, and report Portugal financials for consolidation to the Iberia Cluster.
5. Provide key financial support to the Local Leadership team.
6. Coordinate the preparation of OL, LE, MYR & ASP.
7. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
8. Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modelling tools.
9. Conduct Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.

What will you do – responsibilities:

1. Manage Financial Planning and Budgeting activities for the Portugal market, ensuring short and
   - term business results predictability.
2. Identify, define, and evaluate potential business scenarios and their budgetary control and implementation.
3. Supervise the development and implementation of Annual/Strategic Plans (ASPs) and official financial updates (LEs and OLs).
4. Ensure reporting activities respect assigned deadlines and maintain the accuracy of submitted information.
5. Provide key financial support to the Country Manager on commercial, strategic, and operational topics.
6. Analyze key finance impacts of local projects and coordinate timely responses.
7. Provide ad hoc support to any Management request.

Who are we looking for – requirements:

1. University/Masters degree in Economics/Finance and Accounting.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in an FMCG Company in a similar position.
3. Fluent in English; Spanish highly recommended.
4. SAP/GPM knowledge is an asset.
5. Strong Excel skills and advanced MS Office skills such as Power
   Point; Power BI is preferable.
6. Strong business understanding, knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems, strong communication & leadership skills, ability to undertake risks, fast decision maker, and ability to work under pressure.
