What you will do

The Commercial Analytics team at Amgen plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering
- backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. As a Commercial Analytics Senior Associate, you will assist in insights generation by integrating multiple secondary data sources and engaging several Commercial Data and Analytics (CD&A) colleagues to develop an understanding of Rare Disease brand performance and provide tactical recommendations to drive it.

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform comprehensive data analysis using SQL, VBA, and Python to extract, clean, and manipulate data.
• Participate in the design and execution of secondary data analytics to support strategic
  - making.
• Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards to provide clear and concise information to sales and marketing leaders.
• Collaborate
  - functionally to help synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and articulate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Support senior leadership and brand teams through data analytics and performance management.
• Provide analysis using complex data sources to generate a holistic understanding of the brand.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the CD&A team's capabilities by researching and implementing new analytical tools.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.

- solving skills, and strong time and process management skills.

Proven experience and skills needed:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech sales & marketing operations, finance and/or analytics.
• OR Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
• OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
• University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
• Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.
• Strong Excel and Power
  Point knowledge.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL, VBA, and Python.
• Familiarity with technologies and applications for data analysis.
• Knowledge in data, analytics, research, and dashboarding & reporting.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Experience with neuroimmunology products or rare disease market analytics.
