Job Description
Pre-Sales Security Team Leader will work closely with sales team to drive a team of 4 or 5 team members that work out offers for products, services, and solutions. Covers the identification of new business opportunities and draws on technical expertise. Jobs in this team can influence and impact customer's buying decisions and are accountable for achieving sales results. The position will work with external clients to understand their specific business needs and provide customized support. The
- sales team leader also contains the presentation and discussion of possible products, services, and solutions with internal (multi-product) and external customers. This role is under SIP.

Scope & Contribution
Team Leader: Demonstrates strategic thinking, assumes broad perspective. Designs and/or develops original content for functional subject areas. Authorised to take decisions within responsibility area. Managerial/Supervisory: Typically third (occasionally second) level of solid line management. It includes geographic coordination of functions or global functional/unit.

High degree of independence within agreed policies, targets and budgets. Problem solving generally requires research and creative thought. Develops and applies new, innovative approaches to complex or infrequently occurring problems. Formulates operational guidelines. Ensures immediate working environment encourages innovation. Operates mostly at the senior level of the business with a global mindset and in many different environments (e. g. outside of home country, new business unit/entity, different cultures). Requires communication with senior executive leadership (internal/external) and creation of a collaborative working environment in an engaging and inspiring manner.
Knowledge & Experience
Management experience across several functional areas or businesses. Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice or expertise across several different disciplines within a function. Command of content of
- function. Recognised thought leader. Typically requires 10-12 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate/postgraduate equivalent degree. Ph
D degree would normally be expected in R&D stream.
Managing a team of about 4 to 5 team members. He/she is expected to travel 25% of the time all over European geography visiting customers and teams. This is a strong prerequisite.
(Job Grade: 11 or 12, depending on the experience)
