Responsibilities:

• You will run incident resolution and facilitate collaboration with other departments as needed.
• You will review SER Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability, and document issues as appropriate to meet applicable SLAs.
• You will create scripts for operational automation and incident response.
• You will work with development teams and professional services to resolve more complex issues.
• You will deliver and deploy cloud tenants to new customers via public clouds.
• You will contribute to the SOC2 certification process using industry standard methodologies.
• You will integrate cloud tenants with the customer’s premises and users via the web.

This is what you bring to SER:

• You have a university or BTEC diploma in Information Technology, or in a related technology field or equivalent education.
• You ideally have experience in software support.
• You have an interest in the following areas: Systems administration in Linux/Unix and Windows Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc. ), and experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.
• Initial experience in the following areas is desirable: AWS or Azure services, exposure to security concepts/best practices, expertise in IPsec, VPN, load balancing, routing protocols, SSH, network monitoring/troubleshooting tools, and experience with disaster recovery concepts and corresponding backup/restore policies.
• You are passionate about learning about the latest technologies and are willing to be available for
  - call support, including overnight.
• You enjoy working in a team and communicating in English.
