What you’ll do:

• Manage and administer
  - based systems and platforms, ensuring high availability and performance;
• Maintain and optimize applications running on Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure);
• Lead the migration of legacy applications to Kubernetes/Open
  Shift and/or public cloud services;
• Support application development and operational support teams by troubleshooting and optimizing services;
• Implement and manage cloud security best practices to ensure system integrity and resilience;
• Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, and Dynatrace;
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure deployment using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm;
• Participate in a 24/7
  - call rotation for incident prevention and response;
• Collaborate with networking teams to optimize service load balancing and connectivity;
• Conduct
  - mortem analysis and troubleshooting to improve system reliability and minimize downtime;

Who you are:

• Practical experience with Kafka components on the Confluent platform;
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture;
• Analytical skills with a critical spirit and constructive approach;
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Service Now;
• Proactivity, organisation and autonomy in the performance of tasks;
• Team spirit and ease of interpersonal relationships;
• Experience with monitoring, observability and automation tools;
• Knowledge of Spanish and English will be valued;
• Portuguese Fluent and located in Portugal;
• Hybrid Work Model.
