THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Digital Solutions Director to successfully lead, set and achieve technology, digital, and innovation projects through the development and motivation of multidisciplinary teams, adopting a change agent mindset, and promoting a culture of innovation and agility. Responsible for creating and delivering the best solutions and experiences for customers, both internal and external, using
- edge technologies and methodologies.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Technical Leadership
- Design and implement secure client and partner portals, interfaces, and a PODIO-based CRM.
- Drive automation and integration across departments, including finance, to streamline operations.
- Improve the company’s development of Podio.
- Develop and implement GCS’s digital strategy aligned with Strategic Plan objectives.
- Lead the delivery of digital programs, systems support, and process integration to ensure efficient digital solutions.
- Analyse and improve system architecture based on departmental needs.
- Identify and integrate new technologies for online services to enhance user experience.
- Facilitate digital solutions by mapping customer and employee needs, and designing
- centric digital experiences through research, prototyping, and testing.
Data Security & Compliance
- Establish and maintain robust data security protocols for client and internal data.
- Spearhead certification process for enhanced data security standards.
- Manage and mentor the development team, optimizing resources use and performance (budget, staffing, development, reporting).
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams, vendors, and partners to support system solutions and effective service provision.
Strategic Management
- Collaborate with the executive team on current and future service needs, contributing to best practice digital methodologies, processes, and standards.
- Develop and manage transformative reforms and digital programs, ensuring alignment with Company priorities and successful outcome delivery.
- Identify opportunities, define key digital systems, and prioritize deliverables to mitigate risks and achieve strategic goals.
- Engage with stakeholders to align digital deliverables with diverse needs, simplify complex information, and facilitate understanding.
- Identify innovative solutions for critical and functional diverse challenges, adapting to dynamic priorities and tight deadlines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among product teams.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience building and managing systems in a small to
- sized company. - Experience with systems integration and automation.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing development projects.
- 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Background in consultancy or professional services.
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business needs, being able to cope with negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Experience scaling technology solutions in growing organizations.
- Focus on continuously developing and inspiring teams to reach their full potential.
