As we expand our operations in Lisbon, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic CTO to lead our technology strategy and drive the next phase of our product development.

Role Overview:

The CTO will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive our technology vision, develop scalable Saa
S solutions, and ensure the delivery of secure,
- performance services to our global client base. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep expertise in Saa
S, cloud architecture, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute the company’s technological vision and strategy to support business goals.
2. Lead the
   -
   - end design, development, and deployment of Saa
   S solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
3. Build and manage a
   - performing engineering and product development team.
4. Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to Beam. lu’s offerings.
5. Oversee system architecture decisions, ensuring they align with best practices and
   - proofing the company’s technology stack.
6. Collaborate with
   - functional teams including product, operations, and marketing to ensure alignment on product development and delivery.
7. Manage technical partnerships, vendor relationships, and external development resources.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
9. Drive technical excellence across the organization through coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
10. Manage budgets and timelines for technical projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technical leadership role, preferably within Saa
   S companies.
2. Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Saa
   S architectures.
3. Deep understanding of modern software development practices, including microservices, APIs, Dev
   Ops, and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Experience with security standards, compliance regulations, and data protection in Saa
   S environments.
5. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling engineering teams.
6. Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
7. Proven track record of delivering
   - quality software solutions in a
   - paced, agile environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to
   - technical stakeholders.
9. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
