Chief Hospitality Officer (CHO)

As we expand our portfolio in partnership with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Hospitality Officer (CHO) to lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of our hospitality division.
The Opportunity
As CHO, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the overarching hospitality strategy for all our upcoming hotels. This pivotal role combines vision, leadership, and expertise to ensure that each property exemplifies
- class service, operational efficiency, and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the hospitality vision and strategy for all new and existing properties, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Brand Standards: Uphold and enhance brand consistency across all hotels, in partnership with Wyndham standards, while tailoring experiences to local markets.
- Pre-Opening & Launches: Oversee all aspects of
- opening activities, including staff recruitment, training, marketing plans, and operational setup. - Operational Oversight: Establish and monitor KPIs across departments to ensure guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational excellence.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a team of hospitality professionals to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Guest Experience: Drive guest engagement strategies, continuously refining service quality and personalization.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with financial teams to design and execute business plans, budgets, and revenue strategies to maximize profitability.
- Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation of modern hospitality systems and digital tools to enhance efficiency and the guest experience.
- Sustainability: Advocate for sustainable practices within operations to align with global standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 15 years of progressive leadership in hospitality, including 5+ years as a General Manager or Senior Executive with a global hotel chain.
- Expertise: Proven success in
- opening, operations, and strategic planning for luxury or upscale properties. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced certifications in hospitality are preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of modern hospitality systems, PMS platforms, and CRM tools.
- Leadership: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and lead
- functional teams toward common goals.
