Chief Financial Officer - Portugal

Responsible for directing and managing the financial and budgetary activities, including financial reporting to the management and statutory reports to competent authorities. Furthermore, liaising with operations department heads to identify areas of raising efficiency and effectiveness and to improve performance, policies, and programs

Management:

• Manage the finance department, coach and develop the finance team
• Plays an active role as financial business partner in the management team of Portugal

Reporting:

• Ensures all finance deadlines are met - in line with FP&A calendar
• Responsible for delivery of results of the management and statutory P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
• Present results to the management team during
  - end, budget and forecast reviews
• Responsible for statutory reporting: Internal (group) and External audits for Portuguese entities
• Liaise with external advisors e. g. auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance
• Internal control and
  - certifications

Other:

• Tax: Responsible for all Tax-queries in Portugal (CIT, VAT, SAFT etc)
• Treasury: Contact person for local banks, bank guarantees, loans, and preparation weekly cashflow
• Monitor daily bank balances
• Insurance: verify local insurance policies together with Group insurance
• Governance: Preparation Capex proposals for the Portuguese stations; review new customer contracts and renewal of existing contracts
• Support regional FPA-resource with Customer analysis, such as Customer CIPs and Customer profitability
• Support with
