ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Head of Transactional Accounting Portugal, Inspired Group is looking for a highly motivated and
- oriented individual to join its finance team as a Cash and Treasury Specialist in its Lisbon office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for school operations.
2. Process daily banking transactions in the accounting system.
3. Optimize cash management by effectively handling receivables and payables.
4. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cash flow data.
5. Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
6. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
7. Oversee bank account activities, including opening, closing, and managing account signatories.
8. Execute and oversee treasury transactions such as payments, transfers, and investments.
9. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
10. Identify and mitigate risks related to cash and treasury functions.
11. Implement and maintain internal controls to protect the organization’s financial assets.
12. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
13. Provide financial insights and guidance to school administrators.
14. Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in cash management, treasury, or a similar financial role;
3. Strong knowledge of treasury functions, financial instruments, and cash flow forecasting;
4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel);
5. Excellent analytical,
   - solving, and organizational skills;
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
8. Fluency in Portuguese and English.
