Captain Waiter

We are seeking an Captain Waiter to join our team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the maintenance and optimization of our facilities, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Additionally, the position involves managing catering services, oversee wine club activities, and providing exceptional experiences that foster employee engagement and client satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior spaces, including offices, meeting rooms, and recreational areas.
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of shared spaces, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for employees and guests.
- Supervise construction, renovations, and layout changes, ensuring updated plans and documentation.
- Prepare reports on maintenance, repairs, and safety for management’s action plans.
- Lead and support the team, fostering development and achieving defined objectives.
- Plan and coordinate catering services, coffee breaks, and meal services in cooperation with the internal Chef.
- Organize and oversee corporate events, including meetings, conferences, and internal celebrations.
- Manage inventory control for catering supplies and facility resources, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to deliver
- quality experiences. - Manage and support activities related to the internal wine club, fostering relationships with internal and external clients, and creating networking opportunities.
- Oversee and coordinate lunch reservations for wine club members, ensuring a seamless and exceptional service experience.
- Assist in table service when necessary, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to established quality standards.
- Apply expertise in wine and bar service techniques, contributing to a professional environment for
- related events and gatherings. - Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational goals and employee experience initiatives.
- Guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations and implement appropriate workplace security measures.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, including experience in catering, event planning, and facilities management.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Familiarity with Workplace Safety Standards.
- Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset.
- Demonstrable aptitude in
