We are looking for a Lead Backend Software Engineer!

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of solutions within the team, by following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews. . . );
2. Contribute to team's overall understanding of the problem/solution and implementation details;
3. Monitor team development and intervene when necessary to ensure the team achieves quality outcomes;
4. Contribute to alignment with other teams, when dependencies exist;
5. Optimize the performance of the platform component you'll work on;
6. Produce and test code in short cycles, with a high degree of automation;
7. Gather feedback from
   - users and adapt your solutions;
8. Focus on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users;
9. Knowledge of product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing;
10. Experience in designing and communicating
    - level functional designs and solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. If you do not have one but you are really good (and can show it), we still want to hear from you;
2. More than 8 years of software development experience;
3. Experience in mentoring younger software engineers;
4. Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design;
5. Excellent coding skills in one or more of these technologies: C#, Java, Python; Preference in C#.
6. AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices Development experience (valued);
7. Relational Database experience: SQLServer, Oracle (valued);
8. Continuous delivery and testing techniques (valued);
9. Good communication skills and fluency in English;
10. Experience in solving and troubleshooting highly complex technical problems;
11. Drive to innovate and bring development best practices into your team;
12. Drive to understand what are the upcoming technologies and frameworks;
13. Good level of English.
