What you will do

The Business Enablement (BE) Capability Lead is a key leadership position at the Amgen Capability Center in Portugal (ACCP). This role is responsible for overseeing the execution of BE services, including meeting management, general administrative tasks, and contract/compliance support activities. The leader aims to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency by solving problems strategically, developing their team, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. They will collaborate with
- functional teams to deliver
- quality services that align with ACCP's objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement the strategic direction for BE capability at ACCP.
• Ensure the delivery of BE services aligns with agreed service delivery metrics, drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, and adjust team structures to meet evolving business demands.
• Oversee the management of the BE ACCP Budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
• Foster and maintain robust relationships with
  - functional leadership teams, Service Level Agreements (SLAs),
  - party vendors, and key external stakeholders.
• Lead the development of capabilities, act as a role model, and promote the adoption of communication tools and technologies to meet the changing needs of stakeholders and their interactions.
• Partner with ACCP leadership team to align activities with the organization’s overarching objectives.

Minimum requirements

• University degree
• Broad experience in different leadership positions
• 6+ years of aggregated experience in delivering administrative support services
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication

Preferred requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in other capability centers
• Project management skills and experience
• Demonstrated experience working effectively within a matrix organization
• Strong compliance background and working experience with policies, procedures and SOP’s
