Location: Hybrid (Lisbon Office)

Salary Expectations: €60K to €65K
Commission/Bonus: Up to 50% - Uncapped
Role Overview:
Our client, a rapidly growing company in the sustainable energy (Energia Sustentável) and EV charging sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager. This role is crucial for expanding the EV charging and energy platform across multiple markets (mercados). The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology (tecnologia) and sustainability, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with key partners (parceiros-chave), such as installation partners (instaladores), wholesalers (grossistas), and automotive retailers (varejistas automotivos).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with installation partners (parceiros de instalação), wholesalers (grossistas), and automotive retailers (varejistas automotivos).
- Drive sales initiatives and strategies to achieve business objectives and grow market presence (presença no mercado).
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries and proactively generate new leads (gerar novos leads) to maintain a consistent pipeline (pipeline consistente).
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring partners (parceiros) and clients feel valued and supported.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and customer support teams, managing all data in the CRM platform.
- Analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimise results (resultados).
- Travel nationally to meet with clients and partners, with occasional travel to the London office.
Key Experience:
- Proven sales experience (experiência em vendas) with a successful track record of meeting targets and building client relationships.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to cold calling (prospecção ativa) and lead generation.
- Outgoing and personable, with a talent for building strong relationships and delivering effective solutions (soluções eficazes).
- Strong communication skills, able to present technical information clearly.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems and tools like Slack, Jira, or Odoo.
- Passionate about renewable energy (energia renovável) and the EV sector (setor de veículos elétricos).
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in sales, particularly within the EV charging, solar, or energy (energia) sectors.
- Bilingual fluency in Portuguese (português) and English (inglês) is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with proficiency in CRM tools.
