The Business Development Manager will focus on targeting companies and PR agencies in Portugal, driving sales growth by positioning Cision as their preferred or exclusive provider of PR targeting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads in Portugal and maximize revenue.
- Manage existing client portfolios, renew services, and pursue upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships with clients through regular contact.
- Become an ambassador for Cision by developing strong relationships with customers through phone calls, contact during meetings, presentations or at industry forums.
- Share knowledge and expertise with the broader internal teams.
- Provide regular sales feedback and ensure CRM data is up to date.
- Ensure compliance with company policies (data protection, equal opportunities, etc. ).
- Be proactive in identifying and negotiating new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and growing a client base.
- 3-5 years of sales and/or new business development experience, preferably in the relevant industries such as corporate communications, marketing, public relations, investor relations, advertising and/or media sales.
