Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is looking for a Business Developer of EU grants and funding to integrate the team of the Automatics and Systems Lab (LAS).

IPN Automatics Lab is a reference in the development, testing, and regulatory support of medical devices. As part of our team:

Responsibilities

• Scouting for new business opportunities by researching and analyzing funding opportunities, companies’ needs and
  - user’s demand.
• Contribute to executing IPNlas business development strategies.
• Build and maintain communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners.
• Maintain CRM tools (e. g. Hub
  Spot) to track progress and performance metrics.
• Represent the organization at
  - making events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish connections.
• Support the communication team to design external visibility and awareness of IPN Automatics Lab activities;
• Participation in national and international network meetings and events.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrotechnical or Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Sciences, Health Economics or any related topics;

• Experience in marketing or business development

• Familiar with European funding programs Horizon Europe (or previous FPs), EIT-Health, DEP, THCS, Interreg, Eureka (more than 2 years of experience);

• Familiar with national funding programs PT2030, PRR (more than 2 years of experience);

• Proficient in English and Portuguese;

Preferential factors

• Entrepreneurial experience in the area of ICT for health and
- being;

• Know-how about Medtech, digital health
- chain and market access in Europe;

Transversal competencies

• Autonomy and orientation towards objectives and results;

• High sense of responsibility;

• Good communication skills;

• Leadership and teamwork skills.
