Our client is a company in the automotive sector that is looking for a Business Controller.

To lead financial operations and provide strategic financial support to the business. This role is responsible for managing key financial processes such as budgeting, reporting, and
- end closings. As a critical business partner, the Business Controller will work closely with the management team & department heads to deliver financial insights, drive performance, and oversee the credit & collections process. The role also includes mentoring junior controllers and supporting broader financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

Manage
- end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting;

Prepare and analyse monthly performance reports, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement;

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in alignment with financial targets;

Provide actionable financial insights using data analytics to the management team & department heads to guide business decisions;

Support sales steering, volume planning, and other key financial processes to optimize business outcomes;

Oversee and optimize the collections process, ensuring effective cash flow management;

Track and report collections performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency;

Mentor junior controllers, providing guidance and training;

Act as a key support to the FD, stepping in as needed to ensure continuity in financial leadership;

Lead and support financial projects focused on improving processes and driving operational efficiency;

Identify areas for financial improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance.

competências

A minimum of 3 years in a
- related role, ideally within controlling or financial management;

Strong proficiency with SAP and in Excel and Power
Point & other IT-tools is required;

Well-rounded business understanding with background in sales steering & collections management is desirable;

Fluent in English;

Experience in the commercial vehicle industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
