THE ROLE

Indie Campers is expanding its capabilities in financial visibility and control, by joining a dedicated team to bridge accounting and business information through accurate financial planning, analysis, reporting and process controlling to accelerate management decisions.

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of budget guidelines, creating a strategy and framework for controlling, helping define the roadmap and interactions with various stakeholders, and creating an effective reporting structure that provides recurrent and accurate financial visibility to the relevant stakeholders while delivering recommendations for costs and process improvements.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

1. Participate in the creation of the annual budget, establishing processes and decision criteria for optimal expenditure levels on business operations to achieve targets, with special focus on fleet services and operational costs;
2. Periodic verification of accounting entries to ensure financial statements accurately reflect business activity, acting as a bridge between business teams and accounting;
3. Support management with accurate financial information and recommendations of initiatives for process and cost improvements;
4. Monitor business activity and project execution through KPIs;
5. Perform cost and business analysis vs budget and projections;
6. Control the budget execution through approval of POs and invoices.

1. You are fluent in English, spoken and written (mandatory);
2. You have a Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Engineering;
3. You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience, preferably in a company with physical operations;
4. You have a background in consultancy, preferably in Auditing at an Accounting Firm, and currently hold a position in business controlling or FP&A.
