About the Job

Can you imagine working with over 1100 employees in Portugal, with 8000 employees worldwide and keeping up with the technological transformation on a daily basis? ! We are looking for a Business Analyst.

We will rely on you to:

1. Be an IT point of contact for
   - hoc queries from the business across the systems maintained and supported by the P&L IT team.
2. Analyze the business requirements, working with the business and
   - users to understand their needs and processes.
3. As part of the analysis requested to design the IT solution, write user stories in Jira and verify understanding of the requirements with users.
4. Work closely with IT developers to:
1. Discuss development options and feasible functionality which can be implemented.
2. Ensure that business requirements are understood.
3. Ensure that development work planning is in line with the project plan, follow up development work and report back to the BA team manager matters that affect the quality or timeliness of delivery.
5. Define, execute and document the functional testing plan including regression testing in coordination with the regression tester.
6. Ensure teams are aware of upcoming changes.
7. Escalate risks and issues appropriately to BA team manager and P&L team manager.
8. Acquire and maintain a good/detailed understanding of the Global Markets business, document on wiki pages on a regular basis.
9. Perform user training as required and provide functional support when needed.
10. Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the Business Analyst methodology by sharing key skills, knowledge and experience with other team members as well as
    - training.
11. Understand and observe BNPP compliance rules, including IT employee code of conduct.
12. Ensure IT Security guidelines are onboarded.

What we're looking for:

1. Proven experience in Business Analysis.
2. Strong communicator / Interpersonal Skills.
3. Strong level of autonomy and proactivity.
4. Proven experience in Banking industry would be ideal.
5. Ability to prepare specifications and write/execute functional testing.
6. Ability to organise UAT and
   - off process.
7. Ability to support IT applications.
8. Familiar with Agile methods in particular Scrum.
9. Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.
10. Knowledge of basic SQL syntax is a plus.
