Big Data Engineer (Long term US Business Travel)

- level digital transformation solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations, is looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities:

1. Build data pipelines to enable training of LLMs.
2. Work with technical and
   - technical stakeholders to collect requirements, integrate with data systems, and deliver
   - scale datasets.
3. Operate in a complex
   - cloud data lakehouse, building
   -
   - end integrated workflows.
4. Work with privacy, security, and other policy stakeholders to design, review, and implement solutions to automate compliant ETL for downstream teams.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. Availability for
   - term business travel, spending most of the year in the U. S. - working in customer’s office.
2. Strong understanding of machine learning principles, especially in the context of LLMs.
3. 5+ years of experience in big data engineering.
4. Proficiency in Java, Scala, Spark.
5. Proficiency in Py
   Spark and Golang (preferred).
6. Experience building and leveraging
   - scale data infrastructure,
   - reduce/Hadoop,
   - native deployments.
7. Experience with alerting, monitoring, and remediation automation in a
   - scale distributed environment.
8. BS/BA or equivalent degree in computer science or similar (preferred).
