We are looking for a Bid Manager (m/f/d) to join our Aveiro Team!

This would be your tasks. . .

• You will be responsible for coordinating and preparing complex offers for our technically sophisticated train planning, dispatching, and automation software solutions.
• Your tasks will include reviewing and analyzing tender documents and customer requirements. The development of competitive bid strategies and technical solution concepts, which you help to shape and coordinate in close cooperation with the specialist departments, are at the heart of our success.
• You will work as part of a team following project management standards in close cooperation with Development, Operations, Project Execution Management, Commercial Management, Sales, and Legal as well as colleagues from Siemens Mobility units from all over the world. This will also give you comprehensive insights and expand your skills in various areas.
• In addition to the technical analysis of requirements, your tasks will also include calculating the project budget and preparing technical documentation in line with customer requirements.

We’re looking for someone who has. . .

• A completed university degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, railroads, mobility or a related field.
• Practical experience in proposal preparation, agile project management and/or software development is a plus.
• Experience in bid management or proposal creation for complex technical solutions, ideally in a
  - driven and international environment.
• Successfully coordinated interdisciplinary teams during the bid phase and are comfortable working with various stakeholders.
• A
  - oriented profile, approaching complex topics in a structured way, quickly grasping connections and effectively communicating them.
• You enjoy working together with technical experts on the content of the tender and actively helping to shape technical solution concepts.
• You act responsibly, analyzing and assessing potential risks for future project execution while calculating the required budget in coordination with the technical team.
• Strong customer focus and a keen interest in technical topics that help to create compelling proposals that meet specific requirements in coordination with various departments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
