Your Role in Our Team

As a Bid Manager, you are responsible for bid preparation during the project acquisition phase of our international projects:

• You have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating bid projects, as well as for managing technical and interdisciplinary project teams.
• You are responsible for proposal costs and your project budget, including associated calculations.
• You analyze customer requirements, coordinate the system design, and identify/evaluate project risks.
• You handle the detailed planning of proposal preparation (bid strategy, schedule, proposal costs, and target pricing).
• You organize and lead proposal milestone meetings and present your project status to management.

Your Profile

• You hold a successfully completed degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification with specific experience).
• You bring solid professional experience in (bid) project management, ideally having already gained initial experience in the coordination of small to
  - sized teams.
• Knowledge in the field of system and plant engineering for material flow systems/conveyor systems, preferably in the area of parcel handling, is an advantage.
• You are a committed, responsible team player who keeps set goals and improvements in focus and is capable of inspiring others for joint projects.
• You have intercultural experience and are open to new and unfamiliar challenges.
• You have fluent English, Spanish, or Portuguese skills at a business level and additional languages are an advantage (e. g. , German).
