We’re looking for a Backup Management Analyst to help us reinforce our team.

Job Overview

The Backup Management Analyst will be responsible for the provisioning and daily management of the data storage environment across On-Premises and Cloud Data Centers, as well as remote sites. This role ensures the stable,
- performance, and integrated support of IT infrastructure services that align with SLA objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the administration, optimization, capacity planning, supervision, and operation of backup infrastructure services, maintaining quality, security, service levels, and availability as defined by client SLAs.
2. Monitor the status and performance of infrastructure processes, including daemons running on Backup systems.
3. Conduct regular tests of backup and recovery procedures to verify the successful restoration of critical information and application data.
4. Develop and implement daily and monthly reporting mechanisms to provide transparency on backup task outcomes and system health.

Qualifications:

1. High degree of commitment with delivery and responsibility.
2. Full working fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish would be a plus.
3. More than 1 year of experience in managing backup infrastructure in both On-Premises and Cloud environments.
4. Experience with Backup solutions, especially Commvault.
5. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining backup solutions.
6. Availability to work on call, during off hours periods, including weekends.

Desired Skills:

1. Tape Library Knowledge/Experience will be considered a plus.
2. Experience with ITSM tools (e. g. Service
   Now).
