The Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models and algorithms, working closely with
- functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems.

ABOUT THE JOB

As Backend Web Developer in TUI’s hotel brands web development team, you’ll make our clubs’ web presences happen. For ROBINSON, TUI MAGIC LIFE as well as TUI BLUE. In an international work environment, you will work in a highly motivated team, both centrally and with many colleagues decentralized across the TUI Group. We are always open to new ideas and insights and offer the opportunity to help shape the digital future of the TUI hotel brands.

These tasks you will carry out with enthusiasm:

1. Development and implementation of optimal,
   - oriented IT solutions as well as their sustainable documentation.
2. Innovative further development of the TUI hotel brand websites.
3. Development of new technologies, new features, and innovative topics and trends as the first in the market for our customers.
4. Technical assessment of business requirements for tourism applications.
5. Advising stakeholders on the content and technical further development of products and services.
6. Coordination and
   - designing of the architecture for tourism applications and services.
7. Security is part of everyone’s job. At TUI, we practise secure behaviours first in everything we do.

ABOUT YOU

1. Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant additional certification.
2. Very good knowledge of PHP, Symfony/Laravel, Composer, Doctrine, PHPUnit.
3. Database knowledge (My
   SQL).
4. Confident handling of Git.
5. Experience with integrating and implementing APIs.
6. Experience with Continuous Deployment (Git
   Lab, Docker) is desirable.
7. Knowledge in system architecture and the development of highly available server and web applications, preferably in tourism or e
   Commerce systems.
8. Experience working in Agile teams and projects.
9. Strong customer orientation, a pronounced quality awareness, and teamwork skills.
