The Work You’ll Do:

The Backend. NET Developer can leverage technology to solve difficult problems at scale, taking into consideration aspects like security, performance, reliability, and maintainability. This role challenges the individual to adapt quickly and work effectively, sharing technical knowledge to build and deploy high quality software that satisfies our customers.

More specifically you will:

1. Implement applications in. NET 8 using services like Amazon EKS, Amazon MQ, Mongo DB Atlas and Amazon Elasti
   Cache hosted in AWS.
2. Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and Business Analysts to refine requirements and designs.
3. Deploy, monitor and maintain
   - based applications and services.
4. Participate on cross functional teams to deliver solutions from the point of inception through customer delivery.
5. Seize opportunities to improve processes, standards and practices.
6. Work as a team member and with more senior developers on complex stories & tasks.
7. Develop software consistent with Sovos coding standards & conventions.
8. Collaborate in a
   - paced agile environment under tight deadlines to “ship” new releases each sprint.
9. Take part in an active culture of learning by exploring new technologies and participating in knowledge sharing.

What We Need From You:

1. 3+ years of successfully working in a
   - oriented development organization.
2. Advanced English skills are required (written and verbal).
3. In addition to having a good knowledge about. NET frameworks, you have deep knowledge in some, or all these areas:

• SQL and No
  SQL databases.
• Redis.
• Deployment pipelines.
• Message queue mechanisms.
• Web Services (SOAP, REST).
• JSON/XML.
• Java
  Script / Node. JS.
• Experience and understanding of CI/CD principles.
• Test automation.
• Git.
• Containerization (Docker).
