Continental is looking for a
- skilled Backend Java Developer to work within their e
Commerce, Fleet Solutions, and Data Science Information Technology Competence Center. With this job, you join the global team working on Fleet Solutions for the Americas.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Exposure to implementation design and development using Java Spring Boot framework for current developments;
2. Collaboration with
   - end team members for the development of RESTful APIs;
3. Collaboration with global team members in the US and EU;
4. Responsibility for the development of test code/test scenarios ensuring high quality;
5. Provide production support;
6. Ability to efficiently debug and resolve technical issues;
7. Compile technical documentation and user assistance material, requiring excellent written communication in English;
8. Ensure continuous professional
   - development;
9. Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects;

Qualifications:

1. University Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java programming;
3. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Eureka;
4. Exposure to continuous integration tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Sonar
   Qube;
5. Experience with
   - server applications and microservice architecture;
6. Exposure to testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber;
7. Experience with user interface design, database structures, and statistical analyses is a plus;
8. Ability to communicate effectively with software development team members;
9. Exposure to model data in relational databases such as Postgre
   SQL;
10. Analytical mindset and good
    - solving skills;
11. Good organizational skills.
