Job Summary

Keyrus is looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Developer with expertise in Alteryx or Knime as data preparation tools, to drive automation and efficiency in financial control processes. The ideal candidate is a professional with experience in development, process automation, business analysis, and data transformation within the finance sector.

This position is Hybrid in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial control processes with accounting teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Design and develop tactical automation tools (primarily using Alteryx, but also Power Query, Power BI, Python, or other tools).
• Deliver working prototypes (Alteryx workflows, Python scripts, Knime procedures) that enhance efficiency and support financial processes.
• Provide automated desktop assets (Excel spreadsheets, Power Queries, Power BI dashboards).
• Document business rules and collaborate with Finance IT for industrialization of automated processes.
• Train accounting control staff on advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI functionalities to improve efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between Finance and IT teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.

Requirements for the role

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Proficiency in Alteryx (preferred) or other data preparation tools (Knime, Dataiku, etc. ).
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and Power Query skills.
• Experience with Python and RPA tools (Blue Prism, Ui
  Path, etc. ).
• Knowledge of financial reporting and control processes, as well as capital markets products is a plus.
• Ability to interact effectively with both business users and IT teams.
• Strong understanding of data manipulation, integration, and visualization.
• Previous experience in project management.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL) and related tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English
• Intermediate Portuguese
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
