ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Azure Platform Architect to join our Tech
HUB!

You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining an established technical platform, built in Azure. As a Platform Architect, you will be responsible for translating technical requirements into effective technical solutions/improvements, ensuring scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and alignment with best practices.

You have experience developing production grade platforms built in Azure, leveraging React, C#, and. NET framework. You are highly ambitious, career driven, humble, and customer obsessed. On the Customer Platform Team, everything we do is for the customer. This person understands the customer’s priority, they make technical recommendations and improvements to our platform accordingly.

You will coach and guide our engineers - providing relevant and constructive input on development, testing and deployment tasks. They will also collaborate closely with our customer platform development and operations teams, ensuring smooth handover of production solutions to our operations team. You will lead the ongoing review of code, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team.

The role will include
-
- day collaboration and design discussions with our Global Supply Chain Planning and Analytics (GPA) team, as well as with our strategic software partners.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology.
• Proven experience as a Platform Architect in Azure.
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Platform, Solution, or Application Architect or in a similar role, preferably within supply chain management or planning domains.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Azure services, including but not limited to infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, identity/authentication/authorization, monitoring, alerting, and reporting services.
• Proficient in security best practices and frameworks like ISO and ISF.
• Proficienct in security architecture topics like single sign on, federation, identity, disaster recover architectures, etc.
• Experience with relevant technologies such Azure Dev
  Ops, Git, Jenkins.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Familiarity with development tools like VS Code, and version control systems like Azure Dev
  Ops or Git.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.
• Strong
  - solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code.
• Preference to work in an agile development environment and participate in sprint planning,
  - ups, and retrospectives.
• Fluent in English
• Experience working with global teams in multiple time zones.
