Automation Engineering Manager - Hei
Q Aeoni
Q Iberia (100%)

You will lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems for the Aeoni
Q project. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of automation technologies to ensure seamless integration and project success.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic engineering plans for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of automation systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and other control technologies.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure automation solutions meet all project requirements and specifications.
• Manage and mentor the engineering team, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise across electrical, instrumentation, and automation disciplines.
• Oversee the integration of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems with other project components to ensure cohesive operation.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.
• Manage budgets and schedules for engineering activities, ensuring timely and
  - effective project delivery.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies for engineering challenges.
• Prepare and present detailed project status reports to the Engineering Manager or Project Director, as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Expertise in PLC, SCADA, and other automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and instrumentation systems.
• Proven project management and team leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
