Your role in our team

We are seeking a versatile Automation Engineer with a passion for scouting new features and technologies for machines, coupled with expertise in PLC programming. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in identifying innovative solutions to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and competitiveness of our products.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in automation, robotics, and related fields.
• Collaborate closely with
  - functional teams to understand product requirements and identify opportunities for incorporating new features and technologies.
• Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new technologies on existing and future products.
• Lead the development and execution of experiments,
  -
  - concepts, and pilot projects.
• Utilize your expertise in PLC programming to design and implement control systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies.
• Develop test plans and protocols to validate the functionality of new features and technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements by attending conferences and networking events.
• Document findings, insights, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
• Proven experience in automation engineering, with a focus on scouting and integrating new features and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, robotics, control systems, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages.
• Experience with hardware and software integration.
• Excellent
  - solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, robotics, or automation industry is advantageous.
