We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Tour Cook to support the head cook in preparing
- quality meals for a production team while on the road. This role involves assisting with food prep, cooking, setting up meal stations, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness in a
- paced touring environment. The ideal candidate should be adaptable,
- oriented, and able to work efficiently under changing conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the head cook with meal preparation, including chopping, prepping ingredients, and cooking;
2. Help set up and break down kitchen stations in various locations;
3. Ensure all meals are prepared on time according to production schedules;
4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety regulations;
5. Assist with grocery shopping, inventory management, and restocking supplies;
6. Accommodate special dietary requests and restrictions;
7. Operate cooking equipment safely and efficiently;
8. Help with dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, and waste management;
9. Adapt to
   - minute changes and
   - related challenges;
10. Duration: March-June.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a cook, prep cook, or kitchen assistant, preferably in a catering, touring, or
   - volume food service setting;
2. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices;
3. Ability to work in a
   - paced,
   - pressure environment;
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills;
5. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and locations;
6. Ability to lift heavy supplies and stand for long periods;
7. Valid driver’s license (a plus, but not required).
