Job Description:

A great opportunity to join as an Assistant Director of F&B at a luxury 5-star hotel in Lisbon. Assists the Director of Food & Beverage in establishing the highest standard within all catering departments, in order to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction and maximise sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the entire F&B operation and ensure that all standards are maintained.
2. Assist all F&B Heads of Department in the
   -
   - day operation of their respective departments.
3. Ensure that all clients frequenting the F&B outlets are always served promptly and courteously.
4. Ensure optimal revenue by stimulating sales in terms of covers and average spends.
5. Assist the DOFB in daily checking of all F&B areas for hygiene and orderliness and pay attention to the personal care of guests and employees.
6. Deputise for the DOFB during their absence.
7. Be responsible for valuables and equipment in the F&B outlets.
8. Conduct regular quality control inspections within the department.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
10. Address all special requirements that affect the department.
11. Keep senior management informed of the latest ideas affecting the operation of the department.
12. Possess good knowledge of the Portuguese language.
