Context:

The Ar
Gis technical expert works on the critical applications of Risk P&C CATNAT (Natural Catastrophes) perimeter, in an international context.

GAIA (product) is a group solution for Natural Perils risk management. It provides entities with technical capabilities at the point of underwriting (mainly scoring, pricing rates, and exposure accumulations management). It is a key tool to steer technical excellence on the major Cat risk. The application is based on Arc
Gis software and uses HERE geocoding APIs.

The technical expert works both on BAU and projects and is directly in contact with GRM (Group Risk Management).

Applications are developed in Java, Python, and are hosted in data centers (exit of data centers planned for 2025, maybe to Cloud infrastructure).

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions to answer the need (both for projects and BAU).
2. In case of issues: investigate, propose workaround (if possible), and implement/test corrections.
3. Participate in operational committee with GRM team members.
4. Develop, test, deploy, and document the implemented solutions, in respect with AGO guidelines (Dev
   Ops, CI/CD + security guidelines).
5. Ensure maintenance of applications already live.
6. Collaborate with architecture and security teams for new implementation definition.
7. Support users.

Technical Skills:

1. Experience with software development (ideally: geoanalytics, Ar
   Gis from ESRI editor).
2. Experience in Java, Java
   Script, and Python development.
3. Experience on best practices in terms of architecture design (AD, Storage, Managed services, etc. ).
4. Strong knowledge on security and implementation of security in IT applications and infrastructures.
5. Experience with large volume/optimization.
6. Rigor and excellent level in algorithmics.
7. Good experience in using APIs.
8. Good knowledge of cloud frameworks (Azure batch, service
   IO, etc. ).
9. Be keen about security when coding.
10. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud.
11. Good experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
12. SQL.
13. Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Dev
    Ops methodologies.

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with a minimum of 7-8 years of professional experience.

Hybrid model: 2x a week in Lisbon.
