We are looking for a Application Support to join us in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

• Support the business in their IT needs and understand the business workflows and scenarios.
• Maintain a proper coverage in their designated shift.
• Voluntarily pick up work and tasks as received over email, tickets, or in person.
• Provide business, team members, and other project/task partnering teams updates on the issue/task/project.
• Document and train other team members.
• Shadow other team members and seek to learn to improve
  -
  - day coverage of the platforms.
• Share knowledge within the team and document the issues/incidents for better
  - up.
• Improve
  -
  - day tasks by writing scripts and automating tasks that are
  - oriented.
• Contribute towards better
  - release checkouts.
• Understand the underlying issue and the associated patch fix/release and identify systemic issues.
• Availability to work during holidays/weekends as per
  - defined needs and on a rotational basis with the rest of the team.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of network technologies and protocols – specifically TCP and UDP.
• Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl for scripting, any other programming language, e. g. , C, C++, Java).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka.
• Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Fluency in English (at least B2).
