We are seeking a highly skilled API Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Expert, you will play a key role in our client data team. If you are passionate about analyses and numbers, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an API Framework for various business domains.
• Assist business units in creating accessible APIs for external clients.
• Provide documentation and training for API deployment.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprints and team meetings.
• Extend the Design Authority in Portugal, promoting best practices and aiding in recruitment.

Technical Skills:

Languages:

• Java Technologies: Expertise in Java V8-V11.

Frameworks:

• Spring
  Boot Ecosystem: Proficiency in Spring
  Boot V2+, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate.
• Spring Security: Knowledge of Spring Security or other modules for
  - level security.

API Development:

• API Knowledge: Understanding of API, API Composition, BFF, and API Gateway.
• API Documentation: Proficiency in API Documentation structures (Swagger, Open
  API) and formats (JSON, YAML).
• API Monitoring: Awareness of API Monitoring.
• API Publishing: Familiarity with API Catalog Tools (Swagger
  Hub, Spotify Backstage).

Design and Architecture:

• Design: Ability to design Java Services and Components in a Micro
  Services Ecosystem.
• Architecture: Ability to assist other teams in designing reusable APIs.
• Best Practices Writing: Ability to write best practices suited to the organization.

Development Tools:

• Jenkins: Experience with Jenkins usage V2+.
• Docker: Knowledge of Docker.
• Splunk: Experience with Splunk V8+.

Other Technical Skills:

• POC Creation: Ability to create Proof of Concepts to demonstrate concepts.
• Hello World Creation: Ability to create "Hello World" examples to demonstrate framework usage.
• Authentication & Authorization: Understanding of API authentication and authorization differences.
• Performance: Ability to help improve API performance.
