API AND MASTER INTEGRATION ARCHITECT (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid work.

Location: Candidates must live in Lisbon, Portugal.

Requirements:

1. Up to 15 years of experience in the role for the service to be contracted.
2. Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams.
5. Critical analysis and
   - solving skills.
6. Commitment to quality of deliveries.
7. Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities and GDPR market.
8. Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA tool, and Confluence (valued).
9. Experience in strategic projects.
10. Knowledge of languages (written and oral): English (mandatory), Portuguese (valued), Spanish (valued).
11. In-depth knowledge of the various types of integration platforms, as well as integration patterns, and new market trends.

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating the needs of our internal clients into comprehensive integration specifications. This role focuses exclusively on integration specifications, with no development or incident resolution responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Be proactive, enthusiastic, driven, taking ownership and accountability in your work.
2. Be critical, imaginative and challenge the 'Status Quo'.
3. Design and develop technical architecture for integration solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
4. Assist in the specification of integration test plans and scenarios.
5. Maintain integration design documentation and technical specifications.
6. Define and document integration patterns and best practices.
7. Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code.
8. Strong background in Mulesoft, as our internal initiative will be focused on this platform.

While not mandatory, familiarity with the following technologies can be advantageous:

1. SAP PO
2. SAP CPI
3. IBM API Connect
4. IBM Data
   Power
5. AWS (SQS, SNS, Kinesis)
6. Azure (Event Hubs, Service Bus, Event Grid)
7. Google Pub/Sub

Documentation of guidelines and governance of integration platforms; definition of new integration rules, and respective presentation and defense to stakeholders; specifications of highly complex application integrations, and their presentation and defense to stakeholders.
