Data. pt. Like ELIXIR, the Portuguese Node is organised as a decentralised network of specialised centres, under a common hardware and software infrastructure, and shared training and industry/entrepreneurship programmes.

The candidate selected for this position will be mainly responsible for administrative support to the Association and Board of Directors, and managing projects.

Requisites:

• Bachelor's degree in management, economics, or related areas;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, read, spoken, and written (minimum C1 written and spoken);
• Experience in project management, particularly involving multidisciplinary and international teams;
• Familiarity with Office tools: Word, Excel, and Power
  Point;
• Familiarity with project management software and financial tools;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to help each other, proactivity, flexibility;
• Project management experience: National and European Projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Portuguese Node of ELIXIR and all its duties, including managing its budget;
• Manage ELIXIR projects and support the PIs;
  • Provide technical and financial support to the Association projects, namely tracking deadlines, monitoring task development, and elaborating regular and timely plans and reports;
• Administrative support to the Association and Board of Directors;
  • Prepare the minutes of the Board of Directors and General Meeting;
  • Support in the management and execution of budgets, render accounts, practice and promote all necessary acts for this purpose;
• Carrying out procedures for the acquisition or leasing of goods and services, as well as developing negotiation processes that lead to the rationalization and reduction of charges;
• Organize and keep

  - date the register and inventory of assets;
• Support in event preparation and realization;
• Report directly to the Executive Director and to the ELIXIR Head of Node.

Additional Information

• Monthly salary indexed to TRU 15 (1, 389. 93 €);
• Meal allowance per workday of 10. 20€ (ten euros and twenty cents in card);

The monthly pay, meal allowance, vacation, and Christmas payments shall be paid by bank transfer.

Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in management, economics, or related areas, with proven knowledge on project and administrative management. Required language skills: proficiency in English (minimum C1 written and spoken).

Availability to travel in the country and abroad.

Selection process

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

• 70% academic profile and proven experience record

An interview will be conducted with shortlisted candidates. The punctuation proposed by each member of the jury is obtained by assigning a weighting factor of 70% to the first phase of the application, and a weighting factor of 30% to the interview. The jury may also decide not to assign the position if none of the candidates meets the required conditions.

Candidates with an average score below 70% are not recommended for hiring.

Each member of the jury assigns a classification to each of the candidates on a scale of 0 to 100 points, ranking the candidates according to their classification consisting of the sum of the partial classifications assigned in each evaluation criterion, and considering the weighting factor given to each parameter. In this process, abstentions are not allowed.

Candidates shall be ordered by applying the successive voting method. The jury has the faculty not to select a candidate if the
- mentioned requirements are not fulfilled. Minutes of the jury meeting are drawn up, which contain a summary of what has taken place in the meeting. The final deliberation of the jury is approved by the Board of BIP4DAB, and it is their responsibility to establish the respective contract.
