Accounts Payable Manager, Lisboa
Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Accounts Payable Divisions team.
- Validate recommendations and lead implementation of Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Analyze and resolve escalated back office issues related to AP applications.
- Plan and lead strategic planning for immediate and future back office application needs.
- Validate and update department standard operating procedures.
- Act as escalation level for highly confidential and sensitive
- related issues. - Present KPIs to customers and stakeholders to display process performance.
- Propose mitigation actions with customers and other stakeholders.
- Perform benchmarks with similar companies globally.
- Lead process projects and supplier management.
- Monitor stakeholders and implement actions to improve performance.
- Create SLA lead actions with stakeholders.
- Lead review meetings with customers and suppliers.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with customers.
- Promote adherence to business rules in accordance with Airbus processes and policies.
- Develop guidance on AP methodology and seek improvements and new technologies.
- Foster implementation of compliance, segregation of duties, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
- Support the Head of Accounting and related departments in special projects.
- Support continuous improvement opportunities and solution implementation.
- Participate in
- functional and
- national projects supporting the S2P process.
Requirements:
- Finance/Accounting background with a minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in issue resolution, team building, training, and support.
- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and build strong
- functional relationships. - Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
- Professionalism and a
- oriented approach. - Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
- Rigorous and analytical with the ability to apply strict processes and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent in English with the ability to interact with native speakers.
