In partnership with an international client in the maritime logistics sector, we are recruiting a profile for the position of Accounting Team Leader.

Oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Manage bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

Prepare and support the
- end closing process in collaboration with auditors and finance teams.

Handle payment transactions with customers both domestically and internationally.

Generate and manage invoices and oversee credit card transactions.

Maintain close communication with company banks and oversee loan administration.

Support
- related accounting matters, including taxation and deductions.

Lead the restructuring of accounting systems, driving efficiency and modernization.

Promote innovation and automation within financial and administrative processes.

Assist in HR-related tasks, such as private health insurance and meal card administration.

Develop and implement reporting structures to enhance financial transparency.

Establish and optimize controlling systems for better financial oversight.

competências

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably within an international setting.

Strong proficiency with SAGE accounting software.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.

Experience in payment processing and loan management.

Solid understanding of payroll accounting and HR-related financial matters.

Strong analytical and
- solving skills with an eye for process improvement and automation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (German is a plus).
