Provide high level technical and general accounting services in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley rules and financial reporting requirements of the business unit (e. g. local GAAP).

Essential Functions

1. Recommend, develop, implement and/or maintain standards for functional roles.
2. Analyze, prepare and process journal entries; analyze, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
3. Provide records of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
4. Prepare profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Maintain
   - company accounting records and reconciliations.
5. Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and
   - departmental use.
6. Prepare reports and analyze for use in the annual external audit.
7. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
8. Check that appropriate approvals are obtained for accounting purposes.
9. Provide recommendations to improve existing processes and suggest alternatives where appropriate.
10. Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations.
11. Maintain receipts and disbursement reports.
12. Interpret reports and records for managers.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 1 year’s experience in accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
3. Knowledge of SAP modules.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
5. Technical accounting skills.
6. Good analytical and numeracy skills.
7. Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
8. Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
   - workers, managers and clients.
