Our client is a global leader in the business equipment industry and a pioneer in new technologies. The company is committed to sustainability and diversity policies and seeks to strengthen its team with an Accounting Manager (m/f).

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for establishing financial statements, ensuring monthly reporting and closing. The main tasks are:

• Oversee the monthly closing process to ensure its integrity;
• Track transactional operations (payables, receivables, travel & expenses): invoice processing, payments, expense claims, and dispute resolution;
• Handle accrual entries and manual journal postings, set up fixed assets in SAP;
• Review depreciation schedules and payroll entries;
• Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and validate balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy;
• Generate accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) reports, including aging analysis;
• Participate in physical inventories of assets and stock;
• Liaise with auditors and ensure Tax compliance in close relationship with external advisors;
• Prepare consolidation reports for the parent company, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Initiate and oversee payment campaigns and reconcile bank accounts;
• Track local subsidy files and group funding.
• Ensure conformity with Internal Control principles;
• Ensure accuracy of several declarations: VAT, Intrastat, CIT-Modelo 22; IES, and others.

Profile:

• Degree/Master’s in Accounting, Management, or Economics;
• Experience in similar roles (5 to 10+ years) – Industry sector experience is a plus;
• Valid Chartered Accountant certification;
• Proficient in analytical accounting;
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel;
• Mandatory experience as a SAP FI user; experience in information system migration is valued;
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills, responsibility, organization, and adherence to deadlines;
