Airbus GBS in Lisbon is now recruiting an Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities - your mission

Airbus is transferring
- related activities and other support activities into the Airbus Global Business Service (GBS) centre in Lisbon, Portugal, as of 2021.

In her/his role of Accounting Manager - North America Region, the jobholder will:

1. Lead and manage the operational Accounting services for legal entities in North America.
2. Lead and develop leaders in the area of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and General Ledger.
3. Be
   - responsible for piloting the E2E processes, like S2P (Source to Pay) and O2C (Order to Cash).
4. Interact daily with the selected Airbus entities and Accounting stakeholders of the Airbus Group.
5. Monitor the performance levels defined for the GBS.
6. Secure that the GBS’ companies close in time and in line with the accounting procedures at Airbus.
7. Develop the organisation and processes to facilitate continuous improvements and harmonisation.
8. Develop People ensuring training, methodologies, and digitalization.
9. Work
   -
   - hand with the GBS Procurement Services stream leader and others to set up an efficient End-to-End (E2E) process.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

The jobholder will have an Accounting background of 5 to 7 years, experience within a Shared Service environment, and the potential to be developed into Managing and Structuring larger organisations.

In terms of Hard skills, the jobholder will demonstrate knowledge in Accounting Standards such as IFRS, strong understanding of the Accounting Process, and effective written and verbal communication skills. He/she will be fluent in English, with French and/or German being a plus. A previous experience in People management of 3 years minimum is required.

- oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and people engagement. He/she will have a strong ability to convince and influence, communicate effectively, and will always act with integrity and equity.

The jobholder may have to travel up to twice a year to countries of Airbus.
