Accounting Analyst (m/f/d)

Körber is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support the finance and accounting functions of the Business Area Supply Chain. Based in Porto, this role will support the VP of Accounting in the professionalization, standardization and automation of the function, including the introduction of digital solutions and tools.

Your role in our team

- Support the VP of Accounting in the development of standardized accounting processes and their continuous monitoring.

- Development of SOPs, guidelines and reference material.

- Support the BA entities in their monthly closing process, as well as the monthly transfer of local accounting to the German group Reporting according to HGB.

- Coordination of tax matters with Group Tax, including the monitoring of the relevant Transfer Pricing documentation.

- Support the BA entities in the preparation of financial statements and coordinate the auditing of statements and reports.

- Drive forward the enhancements of our ERP system.

- Support the BA entities in the interpretation and application of Group Accounting requirements.

- Support specific projects within the finance function that require analytical input and assessments.

Your profile

- Successfully completed accounting studies or business administration

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within an accounting/audit service company (i. e. , big 4) or a multinational

- Good command of written and spoken English and German

- Good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS

- Professional handling of the MS Office package

- Experience working with SAP

- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous way of working

- Structured process and goal orientation as well as a high level of responsibility
