We are looking for a Accounting & Financial Systems Consultant

MAIN TASKS:

Project Management

• Collaborate with other project managers in all project phases.
• Follow the project management methodology defined by the team.
• Ensure compliance with project deadlines and budgets.
• Define workaround solutions for critical issues affecting project progress.
• Produce regular project status reports for project managers and team leaders.
• Participate in project committees, reporting actions and decisions.

Functional Specifications & Implementation

• Define operational and accounting models based on project requirements.
• Structure financial data flows for system integration.
• Document functional specifications for IT teams and Engineering.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure
  - time delivery.
• Adjust and evolve chart of accounts if needed.
• Contribute to testing strategies and validate implementations.
• Execute accounting and reporting test phases to ensure quality.
• Provide post-implementation support to reporting users.

Support & Maintenance of Accounting Interfaces

• Manage requests for maintenance and enhancements in financial interfaces.
• Prioritize and resolve support requests as defined by team leaders.

Testing

• Define and execute test plans to validate the quality of implementations.
• Ensure financial data and system flows operate correctly after changes.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banking, accounting, or finance.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in project management.
• Knowledge of general and banking accounting (a plus).
• Familiarity with banking products and capital markets.
• Experience with financial information systems.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and autonomy.
• Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders and senior management.
• Fluent in English
• Hybrid regime in Porto.
