We are seeking a highly organized and
- oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Real Estate sector. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate or hospitality accounting, strong analytical skills, and working experience preparing financial statements and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the company's assets.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate entries related to property revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the invoicing process, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
• Fixed Assets: Track and record fixed asset acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring accurate property asset registers.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
• Liaison with Property Management: Work closely with the property management team to ensure accurate financial reporting and to support operational
  - making.

Requirements

• Education: Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado) - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience. Experience in the real estate, hotels, or property management sectors is a plus.

• Working proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
• Knowledge of real estate accounting, including lease accounting, property tax regulations, and fixed asset management is a plus.
• Proficient in accounting software. Experience with Netsuite is a big plus.
